Over 300 days of sunshine a year.

The Sunshine Coast is along the coastline, north of Brisbane, completely covered with fine sand, where surfers gather at any time of the year to ride breathtaking waves. To some it will seem a name a little too optimistic (“shining sun coast”), but the Sunshine Coast has, in all respects, an excellent climate: in fact, it can boast over 300 days of sunshine a year.

In this area, surrounded by the rainforest, lies Noosa, a crowded seaside destination for Australians and international tourists. The only beach in Noosa is 17 kilometres long and is the most famous in the area. In addition to basking in the sun, here trekking, sailing, kayaking and surfing are common outdoor activities.

OUR ADVICE

Fraser Island is the most suitable location for whale watching. Whales, in fact, migrate from the cold Antarctic winter to the warmer Australian coasts. It is a veritable pristine paradise. North of Beerwah is also the famous Australia Zoo created by Steve Irwin, a true Australian icon. This zoo is perhaps the most famous in the country and can be reached from all major resorts on the Sunshine Coast.

The job opportunities are also very good compared to alternative destinations such as Brisbane and Sydney. There is less competition and the local “bosses” of hospitality and catering are always looking for staff.

Whatever you decide to do, Noosa will be able to offer excellent services and excellent value for money. The city is always full of backpackers ready to leave for the magnificent island of Fraser Island – it is a real paradise for nature lovers.
