Bringing the summer vibes, Sculpture by the sea is on and you don’t want to miss it.

The world’s largest free to the public sculpture exhibitions is doing 23rd years in 2019 and charming 2km of the Coastal Walk from Bondi to Tamarama.

Bondi always host amazing events throughout the year, especially during the hot months. City to Surf is a mark from when Bondi will starts to do more outdoor activities and increase the number of tourists that will visit one of the most famous beaches in the world.

From the 24th of October to 10th of November 2019, Bondi will host for the 23rd year consecutive “Sculpture by the Sea”, expecting to receive more than 500,000 people during these 3 weeks. 

Over 100 sculptures along 2km on the coast, made by 111 artists from all over the world, attract many tourists every year to admire the spectacular beauty of the outdoor art.

Awards for the artists and incentive from the government is growing on the past years and this year the best award is offered by Aqualand – $70,000 for the best sculpture and the honour to stay permanent on public exhibition at Sydney Harbour Federation Trust for visitors during the whole year. 

There are many ways to explore and enjoy the walk so don’t be shy. A catalogue can be purchase for $12 with a map, walking routes, name of artists,etc. There are many volunteers helping and for those with disabilities they offer a free tactical tour. This event is for everybody doesn’t matter your age or degree of mobility.
