GO STUDY Australia provides a range of support and related services to individuals from various countries. Our services are designed to assist you throughout your experience in Australia and to provide you with the highest standard of service and support possible. 

Our services are primarily focused on education counselling, course selection, college engagement and dispute resolution, clerical support for your visa application. 

We always ensure to give you the best advice and support but are not responsible for the actions and decisions of third parties such as schools, universities, visa offices, health insurance providers and other associated services. If there are any issues, we will do our best to help you resolve them. 

VISA SUPPORT

GO STUDY Australia is a student agency and, as such, we are permitted to do the following with regards to your Student, Torurist or Working Holiday Visa application: 

• Undertake clerical work to prepare (or help prepare) an application or other documents 

• Provide translation or interpretation services to help prepare an application or other documents 

• Advising a person that they must apply for a visa 

• Pass on information produced by a third person, without giving substantial comment or explanation. 

While we provide free clerical support with your enrolment and Student Visa application, we are NOT authorised to give immigration assistance. If you have questions about immigration, we recommend that you either speak with the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs – Immigration and citizenship (DOHA), or with a registered migration agent (who will usually charge you a fee for their services). 

WHAT IS IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE?

Under section 276 of the Migration Act 1958, “immigration assistance” is when a person uses knowledge of, or experience in, migration procedures to: 

• help to prepare a visa application 
• advise a visa applicant about his/her visa application 
• help to prepare a document in connection with sponsorship of an applicant or their sponsor; or 
• prepare for proceedings or represent applicants before a court or review authority. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a user of GO STUDY Australia services, we will provide you with clerical assistance in relation to visa applications where applicable; however, you retain full responsibility for your visa and any related processes. We recommend that you consult the Department of Home Affairs – Immigration and Citizenship website if you are unsure about any aspect of your visa or application. 
• We endeavour to provide you with the information necessary to support your visa application. However, GO STUDY Australia cannot be held responsible for the outcome of your visa application or for any decision made by the relevant authority. 
• By using the services of GO STUDY Australia, you acknowledge that no service guarantees the grant of a visa. 
• GO STUDY Australia accepts no liability in relation to visa outcomes. You are responsible for ensuring that you obtain Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), where applicable, and that all required documentation is submitted to the Department of Home Affairs in support of your application. You are also responsible for complying with all laws and conditions associated with your visa application and any visa granted. 
• The terms and conditions of any third-party providers (including, but not limited to, schools, colleges, universities, or other service providers) are binding. It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms. 
• By agreeing to this Agreement, you confirm that you have read and understood the scope of the services provided by GO STUDY Australia. 

TUITION PAYMENTS

You may pay your tuition fees directly to your education provider or to Go Study, in which case we will transfer the payment to the provider on your behalf. Most students choose to pay through Go Study so that we can verify the payment against the provider’s records and ensure that the correct amount has been transferred. 

If you pay through Go Study and subsequently request a variation, cancellation or refund of your course fees, we will process your request in accordance with the terms and conditions set out by your education provider in your Letter of Offer. We will liaise with the provider to facilitate any approved refund to your nominated account. 

Any refund, cancellation fee or other charge relating to your tuition will be determined by the education provider’s applicable terms and conditions. Go Study does not determine or control these charges. 

You must also read and understand the Go Study Terms & Conditions, including our cancellation policy, as separate Go Study service fees or conditions may apply if you cancel your enrolment or fail to commence your studies.

OTHER SUPPORT SERVICES

We may assist you with the booking of additional services. However, GO STUDY Australia Pty Ltd is not the provider of these services and accepts no responsibility for them. These may include: 

• Accommodation
• Education services 
• Health insurance 
• Airport transfers 
• Employment support subscriptions 
• Mobile and data services 
• GO STUDY packages 

These services may be subject to cancellation fees imposed by the relevant third-party providers. You acknowledge that such fees are not charged by GO STUDY Australia. 

You confirm that you are aware of and agree to the terms and conditions, including cancellation and refund policies, of all third-party providers involved, including but not limited to: 

• Education providers (schools, colleges, universities)
• Accommodation providers
• Health insurance providers
• Telecommunications providers
• Financial or banking service providers 

By proceeding with payment for any of the above services, you agree to the terms and conditions of the relevant third-party providers.
