I would like to express my deepest thanks to everyone at Go Study Australia who, throughout this year on a WHV, have taken care of my project from the very first moment I set foot in Sydney. In particular, I would like to thank Lorenzo and Rebecca, who have supported me at all times with fast response times, and often even outside office hours when my requests were of an urgent nature. Their clarity in providing information, always up to date, is truly commendable, and their advice is consistently aimed at finding the best possible solution tailored to each individual’s needs. They have supported me especially when I decided to extend my stay through a Student Visa, with the long-term goal of obtaining Permanent Residency. They have excellent connections with registered migration agents, and their network of additional services that an overseas student may need in Australia is almost always or always available at discounted rates. They assisted me when I suddenly decided to change my study plan, but above all, when I found myself in a serious health emergency that could have jeopardised all the plans I had already made, they acted promptly and found a solution. A special thank you also goes to Robert, who stepped in and took care of my situation whenever my main contacts were not available. In short, I never once felt alone in dealing with the bureaucracy of a country as rule-oriented as Australia. If I had to summarise their work in a few words, I would choose: COMPETENCE, PROFESSIONALISM, ORGANISATION, and above all, a great deal of KINDNESS AND WARMTH. Finally, a big thank to Martina, who manages the organisation of events, giving all of us the opportunity to build a sense of community and enjoy social experiences at special rates. She also organises events focused on developing work-related skills, which are extremely useful for those taking their first steps in Australia. With them, I truly found the care and closeness that only a family can provide. Highly recommended.
