Pre-Departure: HOW TO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THIS TRIP?

There are 3 basic steps you need to follow before coming to Australia:

  1. Book a COVID-19 test;
  2. Make sure you have your COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
  3. Fill the Travel Australian Declaration in the app (Australian Travel Declaration).
LET’S GET INTO THE DETAILS:

Try to have everything organized with time to spare. There are so many things to keep in mind, so we recommend not to delay it!

1) Starting from April 18th you no longer need to take a molecular Covid test to enter Australia 🎉

2) Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:

Download the app Australian Travel Declaration, and upload a picture or a PDF with the proof of vaccination. Documents must be in English or with a certified translation.

3) Download the app Australian Travel Declaration and fill the travel declaration within 72hs of your departure.

The APP is available for iOS and Android (make sure you have the latest version). Prior to your departure, you’re going to have to provide the required information regarding your traveling plans. This is mandatory.

Also, the app will ask you some questions such as:

  • Provide your personal information, email address and phone number;
  • Flight details;
  • COVID-19 declaration: Vaccine received, dates of first and second shot. Also, you’ll need to attach a copy of your vaccination certificate;
  • Declare if you have visited other countries in the past 14 days;
  • Address where you’re going to stay in Australia;
  • Agree to be informed about the borders’ situation of the state you’re going to visit.

Once you complete your declaration,  you will receive a confirmation email to be shown upon your departure and arrival to Australia.

This email could have:

  • A green reply: Informing that you won’t have to quarantine.
  • A blue reply: Informing that you will have to quarantine upon arrival.
  • A red reply: Informing that the flight company will decide if you’re accepted to departure or not.

Always check you get the right email!

If you can’t fill out the application on the app, use the online web form.
