Go Study Australia – iBackpacker Competition

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry to this game of skill promotion. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. The Promoter is Go Study Australia, 5/507 Kent St Sydney, NSW ABN 84 123 557 148, refered to as Go Study or Go Study Australia.
3. The period during which participants can enter the Promotion commences at 9am on 15 May 2019 and ends at 5:00pm on 31 August 2019 (“The Promotion Period”).
4. Entry is open to persons who are 18 years of age or over (“Eligible Entrants”).
5. Directors, management and employees of any of the Go Study Australia and iBackpacker and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
6. To enter the ‘competition, entrants must enter via the “iBackpacker” survey page on www.gostudy.com.au
7. One entry per person permitted.
8. Entry details become the property of the Promoter. Eligible Entrants consent to the Promoter using their names, state of residence and entry details for promotional and/or marketing purposes. The winner will agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter, unless otherwise notified to the contrary at the time of acceptance of the prize.
9. The entries will be drawn 31 August 2019 by 5:30pm.
10. This is a game of skill. The winning entry will be chosen by Go Study Australia, who they deem to have the most compelling reason.
11. Prize may be awarded as a gift voucher or pre-paid credit card.
12. The prize winner (“Winner”) will be announced on Go Study’s Facebook page on September 3rd  2019 at 5:30PM. Winner will also be contacted by email. Prize must be redeemed by September 31st 2019 or it will be forfeited.
13. Go Study reserves the right to cancel or change the prizes offered under the Promotion if there are any changes to the law which would or might render the Promotion or any prizes offered under the Promotion unlawful.
14. No prize, entry or other feature of the Promotion can be transferred or redeemed for other goods or services.
15. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of entry and prizes, shall be the responsibility of the Promoter. The Promoter’s decisions in relation to the conduct of the Promotion are final.
16. To the extent that a situation, malfunction, or other issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, Go Study reserves the right to (a) make a decision regarding those circumstances which is not inconsistent with these terms and conditions; and/or (b) postpone the selection of Winners to a time and place which will allow the selection to be conducted in accordance with all terms and conditions other than those terms and conditions which specify the time and place of the selection.
17. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed, including, but no limited to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage by an entrant in relation to entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or using the prizes offered except where that loss, damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by the Promoter or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter. To avoid any doubt the Promoter shall not be liable for loss caused by technical and mechanical malfunction which is outside the control of the Promoter.
18. Should a Prize Winner consent to having his/her photograph taken, that Prize Winner consents to having his/her name and photograph published in any form of media and agrees to participate in any reasonable promotion requested by Go Study.
19. The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the Promotion.
