UQ offers a range of scholarships for international students commencing their studies in 2027. These opportunities can make studying in Australia more affordable by reducing tuition fees or supporting English language preparation.
UQ International Excellence Scholarship: 25% tuition fee reduction per semester for the duration of the program.
Available to eligible international students commencing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in 2027.
UQ International High Achievers Scholarship: 20% tuition fee reduction per semester for the duration of the program.
Available to eligible international students of all nationalities who meet the academic and English language entry requirements.
UQ Faculty International Scholarship: 10% tuition fee reduction per semester for the duration of the program.
Available across UQ’s five main academic faculties for eligible international students commencing an approved program.
UQ Lifelong Learner: 20% tuition fee reduction for the duration of an eligible program.
Available to eligible international UQ alumni, including students who previously completed at least 16 units through a UQ Study Abroad program.
UQ English Language Scholarship: Up to 20 weeks of Bridging English tuition fees.
Available to eligible international students receiving a packaged offer that includes Bridging English at UQ College. Packaged students initially pay the English course fees, with the eligible amount later credited towards their UQ degree after commencing.
